Vada is also called as Minapa Garelu or Garelu. It is a
famous traditional recipe which can be prepared as main
course or snack item or it can be taken as breakfast also.We can taste crispy with combo of pongal.Its
preparation is very easy.So lets see how to prepare tasty crispy vada.
INGREDIENTS:
URADDAL : 1CUP
GREEN CHILIES : 5 OR 6
CORIANDER LEAVES : AS MUCH NEEDED
SALT : AS MUCH NEEDED
ONION : (OPTIONAL)
OIL : AS MUCH NEEDED FOR DEEP FRY
PREPARATION:
First soak uraddal in water for 3
hours.
After dal is soaked well take it in a
mix jar.
Add chopped green chilies, coriander leaves,
and salt to the jar where already dal is added.
Now grind the content well.
Take the batter in a bowl and keep
separately.
Now take the oil in a pan and heat
for few minutes in a low flame.
Now take the batter and prepare like
vada shaped balls.
Now take the vada shaped balls and
place in oil.
Deep fry the balls in the oil until
turns into golden color.
Now take the deep fried crispy vadas
in a bowl. You can eat the tasty vadas with onion slices and Palli chutney.
