How To Make Pootharekulu / Pootharekulu Recipe

Pootharekulu is very famous Andhra dessert which is very popular. It is delicious sweet item liked by everyone. These famous Pootharekulu we can order online anywhere. It is made by paper rice or phyllo sheets. These sheets are prepared in a separate manner which takes long time. Lets us see how to make pootharekulu recipe.



INGREDIENTS:

Paper rice or Phyllo sheets: one or two packs

Ghee: as much needed for good taste

Sugar or jaggery:  sufficiently

Cardamom powder: two or three pinches

Cashew nuts (broken) or any other dry fruits: few


                                                  



PREPARATION PROCESS:


First take two layers of rice paper or phyllo sheets where first layer should be completely good and other layer are little bit broken.

Put them on a plain wooden surface.



Apply ghee to all over the sheets using a brush.

Sprinkle sugar powder or jaggery to the layers. Also sprinkle cashew broken nuts and cardamom powder.

Make two folds like same manner. Make more folds until sweet is ready to eat.


                                   

Then take another layer of phyllo sheets and apply ghee, sugar and cardamom powder. 

Repeat the process until you get a thick consistency and roll them properly.


Pack all of them into plastic wraps and then in a carton box. It should be better if served fresh and warm.

Now delicious pootharekulu is ready to taste.
