Masala dosa
is very very popular and tasty breakfast recipe in South India. Let us see how
to make yummy masala dosa.
INGREDIENTS:
Dosa batter: As much needed
Oil: As much needed
Potatoes: 2(well boiled and mashed)
Onion: 2
Ginger: 1 piece
Green
chilli: 2-3 (finely chopped)
Tomato: 1 small (optional)
Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves: few tender ones
Salt: as much needed
Coriander leaves: few
PREPARATION:
Before
making tasty masala dosa, first we need to know how to prepare masala curry to
fill on the dosa. For that first take a pan with sufficient oil and let it heat
for few minutes in a low flame.
Next add
mustard seeds, cumin seeds, Chanadal, uraddal and curry leave to the oil and
let the seeds roast well for 2mts.
Now add
onion slices and a pinch of ginger pieces and finely chopped tomato pieces and
let it get cook for few minutes
Add a pinch
of turmeric powder to the same content.
Now finally
add potatoes which is already boiled and mashed gently to the same content.
Mix the
masala well.
Now take the
masala in a separate bowl and keep it aside. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Once the pan
gets sufficient heat take dosa batter and pour on the pan gently. Spread the
batter circularly like dosa shaped as everyone know.
Once the
batter that is poured on the pan getting little brown color take the potato
masala and add to the top of the dosa and spread it gently we can spread butter
also which is optional. And let it heat for 1mt.
Now fold the
dosa gently where masala is added.
Now take the
masala dosa and serve it hot.
We can taste
the tasty yummy masala dosa with combo of ground nuts or peanuts chutney.
